Tomilyn Thornberry, a small-town Ohio native, is a recent graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose. Tomilyn has been active her whole life, playing a variety of sports in her youth, many of which she still enjoys doing recreationally.
A former collegiate track and field athlete at Xavier University and current Head Track & Field coach at Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley, Tomilyn’s true passion is running. Battling through an array of sports injuries through the years she understands and values addressing areas of dysfunctional movement to prevent and/or overcome injuries that keep us from doing what we love. With experience in training athletes of all levels, she focuses on developing in her clients skills of a well-rounded athlete no matter their activity of choice.
Tomilyn has also spent time as a chiropractic intern at a Veterans Affairs hospital, helping military men and women recover from injuries through manual therapy and active exercise rehabilitation. She loves sharing her passion, enthusiasm, and clinical mindset by empowering others to proactively become stronger and healthier so that they can pursue their fitness goals with fewer injuries and more joy!
As a chiropractor, coach and trainer Tomilyn believes in listening to and educating her clients in a way that promotes lasting lifestyle changes that resonate for each individual. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, basketball, tennis, and has recently gotten into cycling.
As Bill Bowerman once said, “If you have a body, you are an athlete!”
