Stacia Carney
CPT, NASM, ACE, NCEP
Stacia is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and also holds core and balance certifications through the National College of Exercise Professionals.

Stacia has been a Hawaii Ironman triathlete and marathon runner for over 22 years. She has also recently discovered a new passion for Yoga, and rediscovered her passion for cycling. Her dream is to one day complete an ultra distance running race of 50 miles or more!
Though her degree is in communications, she wanted to take her passion for health and fitness and translate it into a career, so she became a certified personal trainer. Her goal is to help others find their own internal motivation to accomplish things they never thought possible - not only for their health and fitness, but also for their overall lifestyle. In 2009, she was fortunate to have a group of clients who went from never having ridden a road bike to completing their first 50-mile bike ride in Solvang only 6 months after starting to ride! This year, they are training for a 72-mile ride!
Looking at the entire spectrum of fitness, she emphasizes the importance of cardiovascular and strength and resistance training with an absolute emphasis on nutrition. Stacia also specializes in utilizing core and strength training to increase overall energy output to create lean body mass. She utilizes cardiovascular and heart rate zone training, combines core and stability devices with strength and resistance training, and integrates Active Isolated Stretching and foam rolling techniques. All of these are combined to create powerfully efficient programs for her clientele. She is adamant about form and integrity of movement.
Ultimately, Stacia wants all of her clients to embrace the knowledge that fitness is a daily lifestyle choice, and you can actually have FUN while training!
