Rachel Press

Rachel is a regular person. She’s never been in the Olympics, she can’t lift a pickup truck and she’s never had a protein shake. Ever. She hikes, she skis, she surfs, she climbs and she runs. She works out regularly and is never limited in life by physical inability to do the things she wants to do. She also eats chocolate, watches reality TV and drinks beer with her friends. She is passionate about health—mental, physical and emotional. She is evangelical about health and fitness. She sings Bruce Springsteen in the shower, Kanye West in the car and the merits of a workout program that makes you happy to everyone she meets.

Rachel comes to Body Firm with a wide range of experience in both personal training and group fitness. She enjoys working with all types of clients and has trained men and women ranging from 10-85 years of age. Rachel believes that fitness should be fun and that a workout that doesn’t make you feel good isn’t working at all. She is committed to keeping her clients entertained with their workouts while helping them achieve the goals that they deem most important.

Rachel holds degrees from UC Santa Barbara in English and Fitness Instruction and is certified by the American Council on Exercise.
