Chris Brownlee began his fitness career 14 years
ago when he walked into a gym and for some odd reason decided not
to leave. Well, he did leave when they closed at night but only
by force. Chris fell in love with the health and fitness industry
not long after he had his first session with a personal trainer.
At 19 he joined his first fitness team at a local gym and spent
the next 11 years of his life training clients in health clubs in
the Bay Area and down in Southern California. Half way through his
career he made the transition to studio training where you can here
him driving all of his energy into each client he sees.
After 9/11 Chris found himself called into emergency medicine and
took a small break to pursue his education in paramedics which enriched
his knowledge of health, and has driven him to pursue a life not
just in personal training but public health. Chris lives between
two worlds of health. His first is clearly kicking the buts of his
clients, and the second has been pursuing his education in medicine
and public/world health.
Chris
has had a passion for sports and fitness from the young age of 6
when he started his first martial arts class. Chris grew up a competitive
martial arts fighter and at one point was ranked number three in
the nation in his division. Though he clams he is retired from the
life of martial arts competition you will still see him banging
away on the pads when ever he has a free moment.
“Everything you are in your life you have created, and
everything you want for your life you can create.”
