MONTHLY NUTRITIONAL TIP

Chlorophyll is one of my favorite supplements (from Chlorella).  If you’ve never heard of it, maybe you’ve seen the movie “Iron Man II” where Tony Stark (i.e. Iron Man) had to drink a green liquid concoction to keep his cells and blood pure and body alive.  That was Chlorophyll!

In “real life”…chlorophyll is known to do detoxifying magic not to far from the movies. 

Chlorophyll, algae, is a natural substance concentrated more in chlorella than in any other substance.  It is exceptionally rich in plant nutrients and is known to have a  higher concentration of nutrients than any other plant food, meat or fish!  It contains a variety of vitamins and minerals, including iron and healthy fats.  Chlorella also contains fiber, which supports healthy digestion and works with chlorophyll to remove toxins from the body along with helping our human bodies repair and regenerate itself. 

Other tid bits…

In various studies published in the Journal of Medicinal Food, chlorella  has helped:

·         Lower body fat

·         Lower LDL cholesterol

·         Lower triglycerides

·         Lower blood glucose levels

·         Reduced infection in infants from breast feeding from mother’s taking chlorophyll

·         Has been linked to provide relief from people suffering from fibromyalgia

Although there are a variety of ways to take chlorophyll, my favorite is through liquid spearmint flavored drops.  If you try these, don’t get it on your teeth…you’ll be smiling green for half a day!
